Refund Policy

1. Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the eligibility criteria, conditions, and procedures for obtaining a refund for products purchased through jihobae.com ("Company", "we", "us"). This policy complies with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
2. Single Course Refunds
If you purchased an individual course ($19.99 per course), the following refund conditions apply:
- Full Refund: Within 7 days of purchase AND no video content has been viewed — 100% refund.
- Partial Refund: Within 7 days of purchase AND less than 30% of the course has been viewed — 70% refund of the purchase price.
- No Refund: More than 7 days after purchase, OR more than 30% of the course has been viewed.
3. Monthly Subscription Refunds
For the Monthly Plan ($14.99/month), the following refund conditions apply:
- Full Refund: Within 7 days of the initial payment (or renewal date) AND no content has been accessed during the current billing cycle — 100% refund.
- No Refund: More than 7 days after the payment date, OR any content has been accessed during the current billing cycle.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing cycle.
4. Premium Annual Subscription Refunds
For the Premium Annual Plan ($139.99/year), the following refund conditions apply:
- Full Refund: Within 7 days of the initial payment AND no content has been accessed — 100% refund.
- Partial Refund: Within 30 days of the initial payment, if content has been accessed, the refund is calculated as:
Refund Amount = Payment Amount − (Days Used × Daily Rate) − Early Termination Fee (10% of payment amount)
Daily Rate = $139.99 ÷ 365 = $0.38/day - No Refund: More than 30 days after the initial payment.
- Cancellation: If you cancel your annual subscription, you retain access until the end of your subscription period.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Submit a Request: Email support@jihobae.com or go to Account > Payment History and submit a refund request.
- Required Information: Your account email, payment date, payment amount, and reason for the refund request.
- Processing Time: We will notify you of the refund decision within 3 business days of receiving your request.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Settlement Period: After approval, refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Purchases where the applicable refund period (7 or 30 days) has expired due to change of mind
- Service issues caused by the user's own actions or negligence
- Courses for which a certificate of completion has already been issued
- Free content or promotional benefits
7. Service Defect Refunds
If the Service fails to function properly due to our fault (e.g., video playback failure, server outage), we will provide compensation for the affected period or a full refund. If a service outage continues for more than 24 consecutive hours, you may request a full refund.
